Following comments on the mansion, it's time for a change and rightly so! The first of my beach series! I've removed my circles, planes, grass and airballoons so enjoy these releases before I revert back to normal __________________________________________ Normal Resolutions: 1600 x 1200 | 1280 x 1024 | 1024 x 768 Widescreen Resolutions: 2560 x 1600 | 1920 x 1200 | 1680 x 1050 | 1440 x 900 Credit: Sxc.hu Comments
Hehe, guess you took my advice.
Looks good *adds to wall collection*, although having the wall name in the filename (instead of just the resolution) would be helpful to us who copy the res we need and move them to the proper folder. -- My Blog My WinCustomize Site Customize your Windows experience it was good advice i'm glad you gave it! the reason for that is wierd... let me explain
these wallpaper packs are done through 3 actions - one to go through all the widescreen formats, where i make a few manual modifications, before it goes through and does 1600 & 1024 resolutions before another break where i make modifcations & finally the last action does the 1280 res. i wasn't able to figure out a way how i can set a variable as the filename unless i manually had the file save dialog appear for each resolution size.. which would be too time-consuming! I've made a few wallpapers myself (ok....like 3) and I just did 'the wall name 1920x1200.jpg', 'the wall name 1600x1200.jpg' etc.
Truth is...it would probably be easier to only do 3 resolutions (that's how I do it): 2560x1600 (widescreen 16:10 - 1920x1200, 1440x900, etc) 1600x1200 (fullscreen 4:3 - 1024x768, 800x600) 1280x1024 (fullscreen 5:4 - this one is just odd) Cover the major ratios, then it's just finding which ratio you use to scale properly. Less work for us. -- My Blog My WinCustomize Site Customize your Windows experience Thanks for your suggestion, but not everyone knows that 2560x1600 can be downscaled correctly to lower resolutions such as 1440x900 for those on that resolution.
Therefore I shall continue to do it the way I do. Re-naming my work is hardly that difficult for you it takes a matter of seconds. Compare this to the hours I often put into work when I could be enjoying other things in life, it's not that much. Thanks anyway. beautiful work!
-- DYSLEXIA funs in my blud! Yep! I'm weird and unpredictable...So feed me cookies I'm a member of Project Reciprocation, >[link] |
